Simple and low-cost equipment for testing thin layer grain drying was designed and developed. Its performance was quite acceptable. Drying temperature was accurately controlled but air relative humidity varied a little bit. The drying rate increased when temperature increased and relative humidity decreased. The effect of relative humidity decreased when drying temperature was over 50 deg C.
