Demersal fish resources survey by bottom vertical longline in the Andaman sea was operated at the depth 70-185 meters, the total catch fish 6,371.6 kilograms were caught by bottom vertical longline 39,408 hooks (or 16.17 kilograms per 100 hooks). The good fishing ground at the area of Latitude (06 degree-30' N and 98 degree-03' E was cover 314 square nautical miles, the maximum catch rate was 23.40 kilograms per 100 hooks. The catch rate of the depth more than 100 meters higher than the depth less than 100 meters was 21.50 kilograms per 100 hooks. The species compositions consisted of 26 family, 36 genus and 61 species. Epinephelus epistictus and Lipocheilus carnolabrum were the new economic fish and dominated in catch.
