Most food preference of both sexes of greater bandicoot (Bandicota indica) was field crab. Then dried powder from Pueraria mirifica tuber (PM) was placed under the carapace of the fresh field crab and fed to both sexes of bandicoots which were caged together at the dosage of 1-2 g/crab, 1 crab/day/bandicoot, 3 days weekly for 12 consecutive weeks. PM could effectively control the fertility of both sexes of bandicoots and PM also showed the toxic effect in both sexes of bandicoots. Then the use of PM method as an integrated method for the rodent pest control might be possible.
