Reproductive biology of leather donax (Donax scortum L.) was studied at Pakmang and Hua Hin beach in Amphoe Sikao, Changwat Trang between February 1991 to January 1992. Leather donax was found to be the burrower in sand and loamy sand substrate while the salinity was between 14.6-33 ppt, temperature 25.6-33.9 deg C, pH 6.8-8.7 and dissolved oxygen 5.40 mg/l - 8.70 mg/l. The development of reproductive cell appeared to divided at 6 stages and the reproductive cycle was once a year which took 6 months started from February to July and spawning happened in June. The size of the spawners were among 48.9 - 64.6 mm at Pakmang beach and 53.1-66.4 mm at Hua Hin beach. The condition index (C.I.) was depend on the development of reproductive organ that varied by the time of the year and sex ratio varied in each month.
