Data of 6927 records were collected from litters farrowed from January 1989 to December 1991 in Holiday Hills Stock and Breeding Farms, Laguna, Philippines. Breeds of dam were classified in to four groups comprising purebred Landrace (LL), Purebred Yorkshire (YY), Crossbred LY (Landrace sire X Yorkshire dam) and Crossbred YL (Yorkshire sire x Landrace dam). Factors influencing reproductive traits were breed of dam, breed of sire, liter order, month and year of farrowing. Since the factors contained unequal subclasses then the least-square method was carried out through SAS package by using main frame computer. The analysis for first litter order; the crossbred sows were significantly better than purebred sows in number of pigs born alive, litter size at birth and weaning, litter weight at weaning and litter weight adjusted to 30 days of age. No significant difference was found between the purebred sow and between the crossbred sows in all traits. The analysis for four litter orders; breed of dam significantly affected most traits except number of pigs born dead. The crossbred sows farrowed significantly bigger number of pigs born alive, litter size at birth and at weaning, litter at weight pigs weaned per sow per year than the purebred sows. the difference among crossbred sows and among purebred sows were not significant for those traits.
