Investigation of the pedegree of Thai Bang Kwae Dogs in Pitsanulok province, showed that color of hair was used as a selection process. Thereafter other characteristics were used. It is interested to note that for the present generation of dogs, eventhough terer were mating with the same hair color but their puppies (offsping) in a litter would have many characteristics and different in colors of hair.
