Comparison of four santols varieties (Sandoricum indicum Cav)

This study was done to compare the growth characteristics of four santols varieties (Sandoricum indicum Cav) : Puyfai, Nimnuan, Ela and Tubtim at Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Surin campus from June 1993 to July 1995. Growing characteristics : diameter of stem height of stem, number of branches size of bush, and number of leaves, Ela has the longest diameter and the heighest stem in the first and seventh months. But in the 13th, 19th and 25th months the growing characteristics of the four varieties were not significantly different. With regards to simple correlation co-efficient of five characteristics of there varieties, they had significant differences and positive correlation at 0.01 level.
