Pichet Wechwitan | Winai Sangkaew | Aram Koomklang (Sakon Nakhon Agricultural Research and Training Center (Thailand))
Study on seed yield of four sweet pea varieties under Sakhon Nakhon Agricultural Research and Traning Center condition during rainy and cool seasons of 1994. The varieties studied Big Pod (BP), Marrow pea (MP), Small pod (SP) and Seed variety (SV). The result showed that seed yield of all varieties in rainy season was higher than those in cool season. The MP variety gave high number of pod/plant similar to SP and SV both in rainy and cool seasons. While BP variety produced highest seed/pod and seed weight/100 seeds. However, BP, SP, MP and SV yielded 258.69, 141.48, 76.54 and 23.41 kg/rai, respectively, and two planting dates (rainy and cool seasons) had no effect on the first flowering of all sweet peas.
