Efficacy of various aqueous extracts and methanolic extracts of Thai neem seed kernel (Azadirachta indica var siamensis Valuton) were evaluated for control of insect pests of mungbean (Vigna radiata) under field condition at Chai Nat FCRC (DKL). The mungbean plots were sprayed with the extracts at 3, 7, 10, 14, 28, 35, 42 and 49 days or at weekly interval after emergence. Results revealed that 5-10 percent neem seed kernel extracts tested had high efficacy for control of bean leafrollers, (Hedylepta spp.), moderate efficacy for control of beanflies, and low efficacy for control of striped flea-beetle (Phyllotreta sinuata) and thrips (Megalurothrips usitatus).
