Study of BTS, NSRTC3 and Kiev extender on boar semen quality kept at various storage interval. A Landrace boar was used, the semen was collected at 3-day interval. The semen was diluted with BTS, NSRTC3 and Kiev extender respectively at 4 doses each. The sperm concentration for each dose was 3x109 cells. The semen quality of the extender was studied after storage intervals of 1, 3, 5 and 7 days. The experiment was conducted with 10 replications. The result of the experiment showed that NSRTC3, Kiev and BTS had a highly significant difference (P0.01) of motile sperm percentage and live sperm percentage. The missing apical ridge of Kiev extender was highest and had a highly significant difference with semen solution treated with BTS and NSRTC3 extender. The length of the storage intervals of 1, 3, 5 and 7 days affected a highly significant difference (P0.01) of the motile sperm percentage, live sperm percentage, normal apical ridge and missing apical ridge. The semen still fertile in NSRTC3 extender for 5 days.
