Objective of this study was to evaluate agronimic traits and rust and leafspot resistance of peanut lines. Two yield trials of rust and leafspot resistant lines were conducted at Khon Kaen University in the 1991 rainy season. Twelve and twenty-five peanut line were evaluated in the yield trial set I and set II, respectively. Agronomic traits and rust and leafspot rating were recorded. Low leafspot disease was observed in both trials. (Chico x NC 343)-1 was the top yielding entries in the yield trial set I. Several tested entries gave higher yield than Khon Kaen 60-1 in the yield trial set II, The top yielding lines also showed moderately to highly resistant to rust, however the top yielding lines have smaller seed size than Khon Kaen 60-1.
