1992
Nilubol Kitancharoen (Khon Kaen Univ., Khon Kaen (Thailand). Faculty of Agriculture. Dept. of Fisheries)
This study was concerned with the comparison between direct immersion and hyperosmotic immersion vaccination on disease resistance in walking catfish. The used viccine prepared from formalin-killed Aeromonas hydrophila. Challenging for disease resistance was done with lived Aeromonas hydrophila. Two groups of vaccinated fish were more tolerant to bacterial infection than unvaccinated control group. Hyperosmotic immersed fish got better disease resistance than direct immersed fish.
