Clonal propagation of mozzie buster was conducted in vitro using leaf lamina and petiole. Culture medium was Murashige and Skoog (MS) supplemented with 3 percent sucrose, BA and NAA at various concentrations. The results revealed that 0.5 mg/l NAA in combination with 1 mg/l BA provided the highest number of shoots. On media containing regulators, leaf lamina gave the better number of shoot than petiole. The numbers of shoot obtained from leaf lamina and petiole were 20 and 3, respectively. Cultured leaf lamina in position of abaxial contact to the culture medium provided the higher number of shoots. Growth of shoots were observed to be better as well. Elongation and successive multiplication of shoots were routinely carried out by monthly subculturing to hormone-free MS medium. In this culture medium, a 100 percent root formation was also obtained after 30 days of culture. Survival rate after transfer vitro-plantlets to vermiculite pot was 86.8 percent.
