Serum antibody titers against Cannie Parvovius (CPV) in puppies after the first CPV vaccination were studied. Total 58 serum samples were obtained from Small Animal Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University. Results revealed by Hemagglutination Inhibition test showed that the puppies had HI-titers between 320-20,480 with Geometric Mean Titer (GMT) 2,717.6. IN addition, another set of 56 samples obtained from puppies in Royal Thai Army Military Working Dog Center and private kennels before and 7, 14-day-post vaccination were included. It was appeared that titers ranged from 640-5,120, 320-2,560 and 320-5,120 with GMT 1,413.3, 1,203.1 and 1,280 in samples from 0, 7, 14-day-post vaccination respectively. There was no significant difference in CPV titers before and after CPV first vaccination (P=0.2530).
