Objective of this experiment was try to reduce feed cost in late fattening ration by premixes omitting. Twelve late fattening pigs with 85 kg body weight were randomly arranged into two groups. Pigs were fed with fattening ration with premixes for control group and without premixes for tested group. Growth, feed intake, feed efficiency and cost per gain were recorded and analyzed according to student's t test. After 4 weeks of raising, it was obviously found that premixes omitting provided significantly serious effect on feed efficiency and cost per gain (p0.01). Feed conversion ratio of control group and tested group were 3.52 and 3.82 respectively and cost per gain were 23.55 and 25.57 baht respectively. It was recommended that premixes supplying is necessary for late fattening pigs.
