Chemical treatments to improve quality of Gladiolus Chrysanthemum and Gerberra

Sancirre gladiolus pulses in 20 percent sucrose 250 ppm 8 Hudroxyquinoline 25 ppm Siver Nitrate and 30 ppm Citric acid for 120 hours or more shows better quality than without pulsing. Cut flower of TW 12 chrysanthemum is opened and retains good quality in solution of 3.5 percent sucrose 25 ppm Silver Nitrate and 75 ppm Citric acid when compare with Benlate Ca (OH)2 and water. Solution of 1500 ppm extends vase life of Lea Gerberra.
