Corn combined harvester prototype which is the tractor pulled type. Corn combined harvester was develped. The prototype consists of two main parts as follows. The first part is the harvesting head unit which has the following three main mechanisms : the snapping unit, the gathering unit and the trash removing unit; and the second part is the threshing unit. The harvester is mounted on the left side of the tractor which the tractor driver can easily see the harvester head and having small turning radius. The harvesting performance test results showed that the a average rate of harvesting capacity was 0.91 rai/hr with the average. Total grain losses less than 6 percent, the average cleaning efficiency more than 95 percent and the average broken kernel less than 4 percent. The farmer can sell their shelled corn after harvesting finish. The estimated price of this corn combined harvester prototype was 200,000 Baht. The economical analysis showed that the harvesting cost was 92.26 Baht/rai (Not included the tractor rent price) and 209.58 Baht/rai (included the tractor rent price). The Break even point was 86.82 rai/year (Not included the tractor rent price) and (148.15 rai/year included the tractor rent price).
