Study of host plants for lay egg of anthocorid bug, Wollastoniella rotunda Yasunaga and Miyamoto (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae)

Comparative the suitable host plants for laid eggs of anthocorid bug, Wollastoniella rotunda Yasunaga and Miyamoto (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae) with the seven types of plant included two months eggplant plant (control), a month seedling eggplant plant, soybean sprout, red bean sprout, mungbean sprout, peanut sprout and black bean sprout. The investigation revealed that the average number of eggs per female were 4.05+-2.35, 5.05+-3.71, 0.00, 0.00, 2.55+-1.47, 0.00 and 4.30+-3.10 eggs, respectively. The hatching percentage of eggs were shown that 90.00+-30.78, 45.52+-35.39, 0.00, 0.00, 44.67+-40.79, 0.00 and 44.87+-35.50, respectively.
