Survey of helminths of Bull-frog (Kaloula pulchra pulchra) in some areas of Chiang Mai (Thailand)

The Helminths were studied from 58 bull-frog (Kaloula pulchra pulchra). Fourteen genera of parasites were recovered. One genus of larval pleurocercoid cestode was discovered from muscle and outer most of the rectum. One unidentified treamatode of Fam. Prosostomatae was observed from small intestine. One adult thorny head worm, Acanthocephalus lucidus Van Cleave, 1925 was found from small intestine. Eight nematodes, 4 species of Amplicaecum spp. Baylis, 1920; were recovered from pharynx, stomach, small intestine and gall bladder. Cosmocerca sp. Diesing, 1961; was observed from ileum and large intestine. Neyraplectana sp. Ballesteros Marquez, 1945; was found from large intestine. Oswaldocruzia sp.
