The selection of almond (Amygdalus communis L.) grown in Siirt

In this study 30 types of almond were selected from the point of view of fruit characteristics about 500 types grown in Siirt. In selected types, the shell weights were determined between 4.66-8.94 g, kernel weights were 1.01-1.80 g, the percentage of kernel were 14.65-24.53%, the shell thickness were 2.8-4.9 mm, the fruit width were 22.2-28.4 mm, the fruit length were 32.2-40.0 mm, the fruit height were 14.1-18.8 mm
