Investigation of anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies using Sabin-Feldman Dye Test (SFDT) in Angora goats in farm of Eskisehir Cifteler

This study was carried out less than one year of age in Angora goats from farm of Eskisehir Cifteler. Totally 98 sera taken from goats were axamined for Toxoplasma gondii antibodies by Sabin Feldman Dye Test (SFDT). In 55 of 98 sera (56.12%) were negative by SFDT and 43 of 98 sera (43.8%) were positive in 1/16 and the other dilution steps. It was found that 29 sera samples (67.44%) were positive in 1/16 dilution, 10 sera samples (23.25%) were positive in 1/64 dilution and 4 sera samples (9.30%) were positive in 1/256 dilution
