In the past decade, cats have taken a considerable place among the housed small animals in Turkey. Again, particularly Van Cats and Angora Cats which are specialized only in Turkey to be danger of extinction. Besides there are many problems of the cats such as difficulty in breeding and promiscuous copulations. The enhancing reproduction of the domestic cats can be possible by more information on the felidae. The reproductive biology, sexual development, puberta, seasonality and breeding, seasonality and oestrus cycle, mating, pregnancy and the collection, analyses, processing and deposition of spermatozoa as subjects about male and female domestic cats are fundamentally important and will assist in understanding and increasing reproduction in valuable and rare felids
