Serums from 414 sheep over the age of 1 were tested for Toxoplasma gondii antibodies by SF, IFA and LA tests in districts of Ankara. Two hundred and eighty nine samples (69%) gave positive results SF, whereas 301 (72%) and 156 (37%) animals were positive for T.gondii antibodies in IFA and LA tests, respectively. Antibody prevalences in SF and IFA tests were similar and higher than LA test results. Thus, it could be stated that LA test is less sensitive in identifying anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies than SF and IFA. Statistical evaluations also confirm this conclusion
