English. This research was carried out the Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, between the years 2002 and 2003. The aim of the research was to study the anatomical and histological investigations of rooting of the some apple rootstocks. It was determined that, there was difference beetwen the rootstocks depending on adventitious root formation time and location. Root primordia was seen in the callus tissue of M.9 rootstock after the 50 days from planting but these primordia hadn't made a connection beetwen the transmission bundles yet.

Bu çalışma, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümü'nde bazı elma klon anaçlarında köklenmenin anatomik ve histolojik olarak incelenmesi amacıyla 2002-2003 yılları arasında yürütülmüştür. Yapılan incelemelerde anaçlar arasında adventif köklerin oluşum yer ve oluşum zamanları bakımından farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. M.9 anacında dikimden 50 gün sonra kallus dokusu içerisinde kök taslaklarına rastlanmış olup, bu taslakların iletim demetleri ile henüz bağlantıya geçmedikleri görülmüştür.
