This study was carried out to determine tulip bulb (Tulipa spp.) cultivation ability in Bolu ecology. In the study, it is aimed that the adaptation of tulip bulb to Bolu ecology during the year, profit from the unit area, comparison of the income obtained from the unit area according to the other products produced in the region, and adoption of the onion production culture. The study was carried out on 12 types of tulip bulbs (Seadov, Agrass White, Christmas Dream, Golden Parade, Saigon, Golden Apeldoorn, White Princess, Orange Lion, Jumbo Pink, Oscar, Miranda and First Pincy,), with Bolu Municipality streets, boulevards and hubs, Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, polycarbon greenhouse and outdoor conditions. When the findings obtained from the research are evaluated in general; It is observed that the kind of factor in tulip cultivation and the planting sites are important in terms of flower size, flower diameter and plant height. It is observed that the desire for cold weathering is important in terms of flowering time, plant height. On all applications a shooting rate of over 75% was achieved on average. It has been observed that when the cooling requirement is accompanied by healthy bulbs that are shooted at certain times. It has been observed that the tulip bulbs were grown in the greenhouse for about 35 days earlier. Planting in October-November and December-January average 25 days terraced florescence time differ. The tulips have bloomed nutrients and minerals need to be borne at optimum levels, can increase the rate of flowering, it is thought that the length of the inflorescence and plant can be extended.Bolu is considered suitable for tulip cultivation when proper soil structure and regular cultural operations are performed. Due to the lengthening of the winter season, varieties have a reduced flower. Other cultivated violets, sponges etc. Tulip is preferred by people compared to ornamental plants. We are convinced that the proximity of Bolu to metropolises such as Istanbul and Ankara will create a new source of income for our farmers, with the regular cultivation, proper cultural application and care, bringing the province of Bolu to an important center in the cultivation and marketing of ornamental plants.
