Flora of Yenikent Bucuk (Ankara)

The research was carried out in Yenikent Bucuk located in Ankara province. Approximately 680 plant specimens were collected from the area between March 2014 and September 2016. Identification of the specimens revealed the presence of 445 species, 123 subspecies, 59 varieties belonging to 254 genera in 64 families. Gymnospermae which are 2 taxa and Angiospermae which are 452 taxa are included. A Total of 41 taxa are endemic in Turkey (9.03 %). The scattering ratios of the taxa for the phytogeographical regions are as follows: Irano-Turanian elements are 102 taxa (22.46 %), Euro-Siberian elements are 34 taxa (7.48 %), Mediterranean elements are 31 taxa (6.82 %), widespread and others which their regions unclarified are 287 taxa (63.21 %).
