Problems and solution proposals related to structure of dairy cattle farm placed in Sanliurfa province

This research was conducted via data which was obtained from Cattle Breeders Association of Sanliurfaand Sanliurfa Directorate of Provincial Food Agriculture and Livestock recorded between 2006-2016 years. General structure of milk farms where placed in Sanliurfa, number of farms and number of animals in these farms, number of cattle breeds, government grants, artificial insemination, average monthly and daily milk yields and related problems with these parameters were handled in this research and searched some solutions for these problems. At the end of this research detected that farms sheltered 5-10 animalsconstitute75 %part in all farms. Black and white cattle, cross breed Black and white cattle, cross breed Simental and Simentalcattle populations were most common in Sanliurfa. Native breeds were lower yield performance when compared other breeds and crossbred cattle. Viransehir district has higher cattle population when compared the others. Some changes were made by government for subsidy were induced the native peoples for animal breeding. It was detected that this changes were useful for the animal breeders and milk farm owners. On the other hand, milk yields of farms were decreased between 2015- 2016 years. Also, fluctuation was observed for number of artificial insemination by years.
