Comparison of multiple elements analysis methods (Mehlich III and ammonium bicarbonate–DTPA) with routine soil tests in Kahramanmaras
2017
Ramazanoğlu, E.
This study was conducted to determine the relationships among the routine soil tests such as Ammonium Acetate, Olsen, and DTPA-TEA and two multi-element soil tests (Mehlich-III and AB-DTPA). The comparison of the routine tests with Mehlich-III gave high correlations for plant available K, Zn, and Cu, moderate for P andMg, low for Fe, and no correlations for Ca and Mn. The routine soil tests and AB-DTPA test, on the other hand, gave high correlations for plant available K, Zn, Cu, and Mn, and moderate ones for P, Mg, and Fe. The two multi-element soil tests showed high correlations with plant available K and Cu, moderate one for P and Mg, low with Zn, and no correlations with Ca, Fe and Mn
