Investigating the effect of different sowing time on the yield and yield components of some aspi̇r cultivars in Van ecological conditions
2014
Kiral, M.
This study was carried out to determine the effect of different sowing time applications on yield and yield components of some safflower cultivars in Mardin Derik ecological conditions in 2012. The study was conducted in a split plot experimental design in random blocks with three replications at the fields of Mardin Derik Balova Köyü. In the study, two different safflower cultivars (Dinçer, Balcı) were sown in three five sowing time (20 October, 5 November, 20 November, 5 December, 20 December)In this study, plant height, number of primary branches, number of secondary branches, heads per plant, number of fertile head, seeds per head, 1000 seed weight, seed yield, crude protein ratio, crude oil ratio, protein yield and oil yield were investigated.According to the results of this research, the highest seed yield was found to be 205.48 kg/da in the second sowing time (5 November) from Balcı cultivar and the highest crude oil rate was found to be 31.62 % in the second sowing time (5 November) from Dinçer safflower cultivar.
