Wheat, which is one of the most strategically important plants in human nutrition, is an absolutely necessary plant to have high drought tolerance, which is one of the most important environmental stress factors affecting growth, development and yield. Considering that it is estimated that approximately 1.8 billion people will face absolute water scarcity by 2025 and that 65% of the world's population will live in water-stressed environments, drought stress will always be an important issue to be considered. In this study; 12 durum wheat genotypes were characterized in terms of drought susceptibility index in irrigated and precipitation-based trial fields belonging to Bahri Dağdaş International Agricultural Research Institute Konya Central location. In addition, the relationships between the grain yields of the genotypes and the index were determined. According to the drought sensitivity index, it was decided to select genotypes for both irrigated areas and rainfall-based areas in our studies. In the study, it was determined that the drought sensitivity of Türköz cultivar was better than other genotypes.
