This paper presents the results of a study to determine the diversity of butterfly species (Insecta: Lepidoptera) in the southwestern region of Endau-Rompin Johor National Park. The data were compared with the records of the eastern region and with the Peninsular Malaysia species. In this study, a total of 206 species belonging to 103 genera and five families was recorded; 84 species were new records and ten species were reported as rare.
