The paper presents the influences of different mix proportions of cement and Renolit (cement additive) on compaction, plasticity index, linear shrinkage, strength properties, and durability characteristics of a laterite soil. the principal objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of using Renolit as an additive to enhance the cement stabilization of the soil in laboratory works. Finite element analysis using SIGMA/W program to identify the long-term behaviour of the stress and deformation for the RC-Soil (Soil-Cement with Renolit) and the subgrade soil below RC-Soil was also performed. The results show that addition of Renolit enhances not only the strength but also the durability of cement stabilized soil.
