A method how to evaluate the impact of climatic changes on forest stands is proposed in this article. Secondary Norway spruce stands (n=118) aged more than 20 years in the region of the Krtiny Training Forest Enterprise (Czech Republic) was used in the study. Five or six point scales were used in order to evaluate several selected variables characterising site and stand risks as well as the risk of Armillaria sp. attack (age, defoliation). The majority of the stands ranked in the category of high and medium risk from the viewpoint of site and stand risks and in the category of high Armillaria sp. attack.
