[Cherry plum cultivar Rubinovaya as initial material in breeding]

The paper presents the data on hybridological analysis of cherry plum seedlings obtained from crossing between promising hybrids of the second round of breeding and a high quality cultivar Rubinovaya of the Crimea selection OSS UIR. As a result of study of the hybrid plants relating to the complex of agricultural and biological value characters we screened 12 accessions for further breeding and commercial trials. The seedling 84-6/89 was identified as an elite; it was obtained from crossing between the cherry plum variety Rubinovaya and hybrid seedling 78-3/107
