Effect of different levels of selenium (0,1, 0,2 and 0,3 mg/kg DM) in the diet for high yielding cows was studied. The dose of 0,3 mg/kg DM was found to be the most effective as the productivity of cows had increased by 7,6% and the blood concentration of total protein, hemoglobin, red cells and vitamin A was higher by 1,08, 5,2, 7,3 and 22,7%, respectively, when compared to these parameters in cows fed other doses of Se
