[The substance of efficiency of agricultural production]

The changes connected with transition from planned system to market relations which have occurred in Belarus, have revealed a number of the actual problems having essential value for steady functioning and development of economy. The theoretical and methodical questions connected with efficiency of an agricultural production concern are priority. The basic theoretical approaches to the consideration of the substance of effectiveness of agricultural production and offers classification of its basic types are generalized. Criterions of functioning effectiveness of agriculture and basic indicators subject to the research and analysis for determination of degree of achievement of purpose parameters of development of different subjects of economy are considered. It is underlined that at an estimation of functioning of efficiency of the agricultural production it is impossible to connect directly all the parametres to an uniform scale of sizes that demands necessity of use of various approaches and causes impossibility of calculation of an integrated indicator of efficiency. The studied theoretical bases of efficiency of the agricultural production, allow to draw a conclusion that efficiency of the agricultural production is a consequence of structure of communications and relations of its components among themselves and with an environment, and also represents a multilevel, relative category which carries not only objective, but also subjective character. And efficiency of one level, or one subject of economy is not necessarily accompanied by efficiency of another
