Determination of differences similarities between hybrids of European carp (Cyprinus carpio) and analysis of the heterotic effect of two year old carp crosses were realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The fishery indicators of two breed crosses of between the genetically marked selection off-sets of tremlyansky carp (scale and mirror) with the off-sets of izobelinsky carp. Comparison of productivity of crosses with carp of pure breeds of native and foreign selection was realized. In some mixed bred crosses which were obtained by crossing of selected in Belarus tremplyansky carp and lakhvinski scale carp there were established advantages (heterotic effect) in fishery indicators of two breed crosses in comparison with the purebred carps of national (lakhvinski scale carp) and foreign (German carp) selection. Indices of weight gain and livability and rate of growth were combined in crossing combinations demonstrating heterotic effect and specific ability. Estimation of the general combining ability of tremlyansky carp off-sets was presented. The highest heterotic effect and specific combining ability indicators were stated in hybrids of tremlyansky scale x common carp, crossbreds of tremlyansky scale x German, and tremlyansky scale x Yugoslavian. Evaluation of the general combining ability revealed the substantial advantages of fishery indices in two year old carps obtained from the scaled off-sets of trimlyansky carp, especially after its application as the maternal component in cross breeding
