Changes in soil stress at its comparison on initial time period are examined. The received dependences between strength and deformation properties of soils enable the engineering analysis of operating elements cooperating with soil interaction to be carried out. The curved lines of the strain relaxation for the definite time within press tool denting are shown (1 – h=4 cm; 2 – h=10 cm; 3 – h=15 cm; 4 – h=25 cm; loamy soil). The curved lines of creeping soil (damped and non-damped) are shown. Dependence of the soil strain on different speed value is analyzed. The creeping deformation within step-by-step and increasing strain cycles during definite time is evaluated. The investigation of the ground by press tool denting allow define its rheological characteristics and make a conclusion about its durability and deformation features necessary for engineering calculations. Different time influence on cohesive and sandy soils explains by their different filtration ability. The character of creeping soils depend on hardening and strengthening of internal links of the soil fragments.
