In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the prevalence rate of viral diseases of protected ground tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) and cucumber (Cucumis sativus). The identification of revealed diseases agents was realized. Tomato and cucumber plants were tested for virus diseases at the phases in budding and flowering and fructification period. In course of the study there analyzed de vizu 100 hybrids grown in greenhouse conditions. Research results showed that there were marked virus-specific symptoms in all tomato and cucumber of growing houses of the Republic. The highest prevalence by virus diseases was stated for hybrid Barselona F1 (40%), Alkasar F1 (45%) and Admir F1 in the conditions of their growing on mineral cotton. For the first time in Belarus by means of ELISA test in the protected ground on tomato crops there were identified aspermy disease of tomato (Lycopersicum virus); cucumber green mottle mosaic virus; tomato mosaic virus; tobacco mosaic virus; and cucumber mosaic virus. In was noted that the majority of tested tomato hybrids (66,7%) were infected by aspermy disease of tomato. High degree of aspermy virus prevalence (30-43%) was marked at hybrids Admira F1, Starbak F1, Barselona F1, Bomaks F1, Alkasar F1 and Raisa F1. The highest degree prevalence mottle mosaic virus at cucumber crops (90-100%) was noted at hybrids Raisa F1 and Kurazh F1. High content of green mottle mosaic virus in plants create a threat of its spread to the other sensitive cucumber hybrids. Tomato hybrids Pablo F1 and Persej F1 as well as cucumber hybrids Meva F1 and Yani F1 were free from the studied viruses.
