Analysis of an essence of innovative development of agricultural production was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. On the basis of references study existing definitions which had been made by other scientists there were revealed its advantages and disadvantages, and the peculiar features agricultural production were given. Conceptual approaches of innovative development of agricultural production were revealed and investigated: cluster development; construction of a branch innovative system; elaboration of an innovative of economic mechanism of development. There was established the interrelation and interdependence of the revealed conceptual approaches.
