In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of the analysis of economic efficiency of horticultural production activities taking place in the Grodno region. The study was realized by the example of different districts of Grodno region, in which there was evaluated the efficiency of horticultural production and structure of expenses. In course of the study there was developed statistical analysis according to results of yielding capacity and prime cost of horticultural products, labour expenses for its production. Soil-climatic conditions and, in particular, presence of the raised lay of land, Atlantic ocean and system of internal water sources influenced efficiency of horticulture development in it. Also it is established, that economically it is more favorable to organize horticultural and fruit-growing production in the Grodno area. In case of yielding capacity of more than 20 centner/hectare as the cost price it will make less than 990 thousand Belarusian rbl., work expenses - 63 man hours/ton, level of profitability of 16%. In case the cost price was less than 500 thousand Belarusian rbl. - expenses will decrease up to 74 man hours/ton, profitability level will increase up to 32%. In case the expenses of work are less than 100 man hours/ton the profit will be more than 377 thousand Belarusian rbl., profitability will exceed 9,4%.
