In article the current state of a kormoproizvodstvo in farms of the Grodno area is reflected, the economic analysis of use of forages, and as problems is provided in this branch and a way of their decision. The analysis has shown that in facilities of the Grodno area manufacture of cattle-breeding production and efficiency of cattle are in direct dependence on maintenance of animal industries by forages with quantity, specific structure and structure of nutritious elements. Therefore the intensification of meat cattle breeding branch should be begun with strengthening and perfection of a forage reserve. It is possible to increase efficiency of forages manufacture due to actions of optimization of sowing areas under forage crops in view of its economic estimation, facilities specialization and optimum terms of harvesting; increases of a level of farming standard, application of modern means of productions mechanization, introductions of the scientifically-proved system of fertilizers and protection means application; improvements of high-quality structure of forage crops; mobilization of agricultural organizations financial resources on preparation of long-term grasses seeds. Spent actions will increase economic efficiency not only of forages manufacture, but also animal industries as a whole
