Electro-technological activation represents the process of conversion of the liquids into activated state with abnormally high oxidation (anolyte) and reduction (catholyte) properties through the medium of electric field. Physicochemical processes and production of electro circuit activated solutions have been examined. The main features and characteristics of the anolyte and catholyte, peculiarities of their use in industrial processes, the method for calculation of the parameters of the electrochemical reactor have been given. The most important properties and characteristics of both anolyte and catholyte after electro-technological activation and possibility of their application as disinfecting, bactericide, fungicide and deodorizing substances for sanitary treatment of different contaminants, especially of organic origin, are analyzed.
