In course of the research there was studied formation of a more efficient, environmentally safe and easy to use assortment of soil action herbicides to protect calendula (Calendula Officinalis) crops from weeds. For the first time the research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2008-2012 (Priluki, Minsk region) on a trial field of the Institute of Plant Protection. Preceding crop – winter grain crops. As a result of realized research there were determined Calendula officinalis sensitivity to 9 herbicides of soil action based on 7 different active ingredients pendimethalin (Stomp, 33% e.c., Estamp, EC, Stomp professional, MCS), lenacil (Lenacil BetaMax, WP), С-metalochlor (Dual gold, EC), imazamox (Pulsar SL, WS), prometryn (Gezagard, SC), aclonifen (Bandur, SC), metazachlor (Butisan 400, SC), range of weed plants sensitivity to the herbicides, the preparations economic efficiency estimation. There were revealed that herbicides Printmaking, KE, Stomp, 33% e.c. (2.0-3.0 l/ha) and the Stomp professional, MCS (1.5-2.2 l/ha) were included in the State Register of plant protection products (pesticides) and fertilizers approved for use on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
