Effect of In Vitro Culture conditions on Ex Vitro Sprouting of Bulblets of Oriental Lilium Hybrid cv. Casa Blanca

This study was carried out with Lilium oriental hybrid cv. Casa Blanca to observe the effect of in vitro culture conditions on ex vitro sprouting of bulblets. Low temperature (15¡É) inhibited the growth of in vitro bulblets while high temperature (25¡É) enhanced the growth. Bulblets cultured at 15¡É did not show dormacy while those cultured at 20¡É, 25¡É had a longer dormancy period.
