DPPH(1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) free radical scavenging activity assay and MTT(3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium) assay were used to analyze antioxidant and anticancer activities in 405 barley germplasms. In more than antioxidant activities(70%), the covered and naked barley having colors showed similar distribution of 28(14.5%) and 8(15.1%) accessions whereas the covered and naked barley landraces are 3(2.9%) and 14(25%) accessions, respectively.
