The Existence Form of Producer Organizations that Deal Directly with Food Service Companies in Korea

In this study, we focused on the producer groups that directly deal with food service company and investigated the groups' structure through the analysis of the characteristics on the sales and procurement of the producer association. In this way, the sales and the procurement structures of the fruit and vegetable producers' organizations have different structure in accordance with the organization type. Each of these structural features results from the demand of the food service companies. The NACF realizes the product assortment function and the quantity securing function through the introduction of the various items and the development of the wide area collection activities. Rather, the FAC responds to the demand of the food service industry by securing the quantity of the single unique item.
