Mineral waters are waters that have a high content of salts, gases (predominantly CO2) and mineral substances, having a direct influence on the forest species in the vicinity of the spring. In this work, we identified three mineral water springs located in Production Unit I Negrișoara respectively in ua's 24B, 32C and 49A, where three sample plots were materialized on an area of 300 m2 downstream of the springs and compared with three other sample plots in the upstream of the springs, located in the same ua, at a distance of 500 m. The phenotypic characters analyzed in the sample squares were height, diameter at 1.30 meters, diameter at base, crown diameter, quality class and height at ell. The research concluded that mineral water has a relatively negative effect on spruce, with decreases of 3 to 5% in diameter at 1.30 m, height and diameter at base. In addition, some trees also show shape defects such as curvature or bowing.
