During survey of 25 plant species at weekly intervals mentha leaf webber, Syngamia abruptalis Walker, was found only on 4 species of mentha, viz. Mentha arvensis L., citrata L., M. piperita L. and M. spicata L. and Ocimum sanctum L. (tulsi)
