Correlated response in litter size of different parities in rabbits

Effectivenes of control population in evaluation of correlated changes in litter sizes was assessed in rabbits. The control population was effective in increasing the precision of correlated response of litter sizes in the second parity by removing large part of the common environmental variance in the selected line. The quadratic trends of litter sizes on generation were better fit than the linear ones
